After a several month hiatus, I have decided to start this blog up again. Not because I have time to kill or I like to read my own thoughts, but because there is something so freeing about writing for me. I am not one to care if anyone else reads it or acknowledges it. It is a personal thing for me. I have been told for the last 15 years that I have a talent for writing (whether that is true or not, I don't know, but I will take a compliment) and I think I am at my best when I always have something that is a "working progress".
Anyways :)
Many things have happened in the last few months in the Alexander household. We finished the purchase of our home in November and were almost completely moved in by Thanksgiving. We had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families and are so excited about this new year and all the joys it will bring. We plan to go one a few trips this year (Fredericksburg, Colorado, Abilene, etc.) and learn even more about each other. At 6 months of marriage, I fall more and more in love with Collin each day. We have definitely had our fair share of fights and misunderstandings, but we have also laughed, hugged, smiled, and loved. It is the best adventure and I am so blessed that God has let me experience it.
Next post will probably be sometime today, I just wanted to get this initial post done with :)
