Time Well Wasted

Good Evening!

I hope you are all doing well (All probably 2 of you that read this :) I was re-reading what I wrote last time and realize I never explained why I chose the bible verse that I did for our painting. It states:
"Let us not love with words or tongue,
but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:18

This verse captures one of my biggest beliefs. Collin can tell you that i have said very often that love is nothing without actions to back it up. You can tell me all day long that you love me or think I am pretty or whatever, but if you do not back up what you say with actions, then I will not believe when I am told those things. Many girls are that way. You know that friend that claims you are one of their best friends and has loads of stories about you and what not but they actually do not treat you like they love you? Well they need to read  this verse. All about integrity and really showing that you love someone with more than just words. Because words are cheap and actions are valuable.

Anyways, Now that I have rambled...

I got in cooking mood again today. There is something about this weather that just makes me want to bake things. Today I made individual blackberry cobblers.

Before Baking:

After Baking:

Then after we ate dinner and our cobblers, I decided to make a Custard Pie. Sounds weird I know, but they are really good pies. Not sure yet if mine is any good considering that I have yet to try it (It is still cooling).

While I have been baking away, my handy man of a husband has been putting up curtains in one of our spare bedrooms. I think he did a great job:

It is actually a lot pretty than what it shows in picture

This is one of the shelves of my book case. It is all wedding stuff. It has our program, sparklers, our guest book, my toss bouquet, my garter, and our cake topper.

Well, now Collin and I are going to eat some pie, watch a movie, and play some bananagrams!

Hope you all have a splendid night!!!!

Love,
Jess
