Summer, please slow down!

I cannot believe it is almost JULY!!! How Crazy!

This month and the summer so far have completely flown by so quickly.

I am now in my 26th week of pregnancy and loving it. Katie June is a constant mover in the mornings and in the evenings.



This is from about 23 weeks along. Please ignore my lack of make up!!



We had our check up on Friday and everything is going great. I had the dreaded glucose test which turned out to be a breeze. Glad that came back normal but my iron did come back low, which I am anemic so I wasn't too shocked there. I just need to keep it in check better so I don't get sick or any other complications arise from it.

Collin, my mom, and I have been working away at making (yes making) cloth diapers. Thanks to the craftiness of Collin's sister, Julia, we are taking on this little endeavor and so glad that we are. Not only is it so much more economical, but it is so much better for the environment! Plus they are so darn cute! Here is one that we were in the first few steps of and I realized that Collin's color blindess was kicking in.

Also recently, Collin and I had his grandmother's curio cabinent fixed. One side had the glass broken out of it and so we had that replaced. Completely love this piece of furniture and all antiques. Definitely helped us fill in the empty space on the blank wall in our kitchen.

Well this weekend Collin, his dad, brother, and brother-in-laws are headed to Arkansas for a fishing weekend. I know they are all really looking forward to getting away and "roughing" it a little. Us wives (with Mr. Benton and Miss Perry) are going to have a girls weekend and just enjoy each others company.
