I hope you are all doing well. Collin and I have been busy little bees. Last week was mainly just work and some down time on the farm. One day Collin came home from work to find Jade rolling around a pumpkin. She proceeded to chew it to pieces and carry it around.
She was having too much fun for us to stop her or get onto her. Collin and I also did some grilling and cooking together this weekend. We made homemade chicken noodle soup. We are an excellent cooking team.
Anyways, I decided to rename this blog to Diary of a Newlywed so that I could record all the interesting little things Collin and I are growing and learning and experiencing as newlyweds. Such as cooking mistakes/mishaps (mostly on my part) or funny little questions that get asked and what not. Most of these things are aggravating at first or frustrating but then I realize it is God still teaching me and I have to laugh it off. Such as Collin tripping in the kitchen and spilling green bean juice all over the freshly cleaned floors....I wanted to be upset but I couldnt stop laughing. And I have recently learned that Collin snores... I am usually way asleep before he is so I normally don't hear it. The other morning he kept waking me up to it and i told him and he just shrugged it off...and then about 15 minutes later I heard a noise and asked if it was him still snoring and he said no it was a cow mooing outside...I felt awful .....but it was still funny that we had to laugh. It is just so neat to learn these new things about each other. Whether it is him snoring or my OCD with cleaning.
The only real news for us is that we are house shopping. We are hoping to find something and be moved in around Christmas. We will keep you updated on this little progress. We are excited.
