Katie and Oliver

We are full term!

I cannot believe that Katie is almost here! At the beginning of this pregnancy I thought "man, 9 months is a long time to wait" and now I am in shock that it went by so fast! And I know that once she is here it will go by even faster! So crazy!

I went to the doctor last week and she said she didn't think I would be making it to October and that we would more than likely see her appearance in the next couple of weeks. Super excited!

On a sad note, Collin and I have lost our little dachshund Oliver. He is an adventurous one and would dig out of our fence and him and Copper (his partner in crime) would go exploring the neighborhood and woods behind our house. He always comes back, usually before we even notice he is gone. However, this time, Copper came back and Oliver is still missing as of Friday. We are beyond upset and keep praying that he will show up. We have posted fliers, called vets, gone to all the neighbors, searched the woods, and called shelters and no sign yet. We hate the not knowing if something got him in the woods or if someone picked him up. It is highly unlikely that he is just out roaming around because he always comes home with Copper. We are praying he shows up soon.

Oliver was my dachshund that I got in college and we have had him almost our entire relationship. He has been on every Christmas card of ours and was even in our engagement photos. He was our little mischievous dachshund and kept our house lively. Copper is very upset and wouldn't sleep by himself last night. Please pray for healed hearts or that he comes back soon. Definitely not an easy thing to go through at this time or anytime. Oliver was a big part of our little family.
